Weight Watchers has come out with a new weight watcher program called the weight watcher core plan. Tightening up the belt, so to speak, on food choices. So many people have left WW for other programs that WW needed to change.
The weight watcher core plan is designed to limit the food choices to a list of healthy foods that is provided to you once you join the program.
The weight watcher core program focuses more on whole foods that aren’t processed or refined. It is merely a weight loss plan that gives people a list of specific foods to eat.
Looking at weight watchers statistics, they had to make a change. Attendance at weekly meetings is down by almost 20 percent.
Meetings matter to WW. Weekly weigh-ins and group support are part of the Core diet, just as they are in other Weight Watchers plans. I guess the support is great but remember you are shelling out about $56 dollars a month to participate.
Basics of the Core Plan:
- Measure fullness, not calories: The new weight watcher program teaches participants to rate how full they feel on a scale of one to five throughout the day, especially just before and just after meals.
- Choose from a list of approved foods:
Your allowed certain foods on the core plan, go over and you are counting flex points again.
- Participants can switch between the Core and Flex Points plans as desired.
